“When Andrew and I were growing our client roster in Toronto, we needed to learn everything — SEO, Paid Advertising, Web Design, Video, Post Production, Graphics… the list goes on, but we needed the competitive edge to stand out.”

They say through mentorship and constantly staying in the know lends to their base of knowledge. The two have even turned to studying the patent filings of Google and other tech companies to stay ahead.

“It doesn’t sound like much fun, but we definitely do it. Skimming patents shows us what’s coming in the near and distant future. It’s laborious, but I think we both enjoy it.” says Andrew Powell, co-founder and SEO expert from RMB Marketing.
