ItspleaZure is pleased to announce the launch of their new e-commerce outlet. The co-founder of the online portal is Divya Chauhan. With an MBA in Marketing from ICFAI, Divya previously worked in strategic research for global entities such as Deloitte and Citi. The young entrepreneur is also passionate about swimming, photography, and basketball. The business idea behind her online outlet was surprising to family and friends, in large part due to the limitations of the Indian culture when it comes to her product line.

In a recent interview, the eCommerce store founder spoke about her procedures and methods, "In order to get the word out about my startup and measure the effectiveness of my marketing, I didn't have a lot of options. Word-of-mouth was my method of choice. My co-founder and I informed our friends about our new venture. We also attended business and social meets and told peers about what we were doing. The result was a dramatic increase in website traffic, "Our site traffic increased by 86 percent in fifteen days, and the time spent on the website doubled."

“Telling my parents about the concept for my business was not easy, but they were supportive once I explained my ideas and the reasons for them” she continues. “In just a little more than twelve months, we have increased the reach across India by five times. Our average ticket size has seen fifty percent in growth. We have linked up with other e-commerce brands in order to expand our customer base even further.”

As a female entrepreneur, Chauhan recommends being unafraid to take risks in order to do what she believes in. She has found Zone Startups to be one of the organizations which have been instrumental in the entrepreneurial journey. She believes in living in the present because the shape of the future will be according to the actions taken in the present.
