This article includes several interesting strategies for laying vinyl signs and stickers, one in particular is cleaning the surfaces with methylated spirits really well, and allow to dry – If any part is missed, the advice is to CLEAN IT AGAIN! Guy Morris from Gold Coast Printers says, “A lot of the problems with small or big jobs is the fact that the surface is poorly prepared and this can be a costly exercise.”

One of the major factors in the success of this process is in fact the ‘magic formula’ helps make this application easy. With years of trial and error, Gold Coast Printers say they have now perfected this formula that includes simple everyday ingredients mixed in the right quantities. These ingredients include water, methylated spirits and baby shampoo, yes that’s right baby shampoo!

Here is an important message from Guy regarding this process, he says “If you are careful with this process, you will be able to do the installation of your vinyl, but things can go wrong, especially before you spray the mix. Remember to try to keep out of the wind.”
